X soviet union official / Head of Supplies / calories producer
I was born in Dusheti, a small town near Tbilisi, Georgia, in 1970, . I spent my early and school years there and then moved to Tbilisi for studies. I attended the Tbilisi University of Economics where I graduated in 1992. After graduating I worked for several years as an Economist in public organizations. Then I decided to move to Greece and specifically to Santorini. I have been living and working on the island since 2000 and at Villa Ilias since 2001!
Why I am at Villa ilias
I have been working for Villa Ilias for 18 years ... I grew up with this family business and I feel it is as part of my life. Mrs. Katerina and Mr Ilias, the parents of the present owner, treated me from the first moment with love and affection as I were their own child and this explains the reason I am still here! From that time till now I feel like Villa ilias is my home.

I like listening to music, reading books, sewing and, of course cooking!

One amazing thing I've done
For me my life story is the greatest thing I' ve done. Leaving my family and country to come to Santorini was a great decision that I have not regretted. Also the fact that I served my country as an economist in a very volatile period, having to deal with many difficult national issues makes me proud.
